Hey everyone. I’m back from New York.

Just a reminder that KWRS will be back on the air TOMORROW (9/20), with a sweet automated playlist that I will construct out of the current ‘format’ (rotation) music, as well as some stuff from my personal collection. Oh yeah, GM Ben Leighton will help out too. So make sure to tune in for that.

More importantly, I’m running two shows again this year. Bong Bong and Blue 2: Electric Boogaloo is moving up into prime time: 9-11pm on Thursday nights. Also, Rocking Harder (Than You Ever Knew) is going back to a more mom-friendly time: 3-5pm on Tuesdays.

The first episode of Bong Bong and Blue will be this Thursday at 9, and the first Rocking Harder will be next Tuesday (9/27) at 3.

You can listen to KWRS at 90.3fm if you’re close to Whitworth. Otherwise, you can listen online at http://www.kwrs.fm/, which will be updated with an all-new layout soon. I’ve seen the prototype that our new webmaster, Kevin Kim, has put together, and it’s real slick. You’ll like it. You should be able to hit the ‘Webcast’ link to listen from anywhere in the world.

As always, I’ll be putting the playlists up here on the ol’ LJ so you can download all the songs illegally and then make your own copies of the shows.

Bottom line:

BONG BONG AND BLUE 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO
THURSDAY NIGHTS, 9-11

ROCKING HARDER (THAN YOU EVER KNEW)
TUESDAY AFTERNOONS, 3-5

Alice and Jeff are in college! Cool! I am driving to Spokane tomorrow and moving back into my room at Whitworth on Monday morning.

Also, I am 20 years old now! Pretty hard to believe. I had a good birthday though, so that’s always good. I watched some football games, had dinner at Genghis Khan Mongolian Grill, ate ice cream cake, opened presents, etc. I also got to talk to Ryan Bradley and Grandpa Gil on the phone. Not at the same time, though. It was great to talk to both of them again.

It’s been kind of bittersweet, though, because I’ve been the double center of attention. Today was my birthday, plus it was the day before I leave to Spokane. All day today, I couldn’t help but think of a conversation I had with Tyler last weekend:

Ty: “So how’s your summer been?”
Me: “Pretty rad, but I’m really excited to get back to school.”
“Yeah, but is there just a little piece of you that wants to stay home?”
“Yeah. Yeah, there is.”

Cameron is so sad. And I am too, because I’m going to miss the little guy. Sad faces all around, basically. But I’m excited to be at school. But I’m sad to leave again. But, but… ugh. I was just getting used to being here.

Well, it’s about time to pack this baby up. See you later. The radio shows are going to be starting soon, so expect playlists in the next couple of weeks, just like last year.

I know Miss Idaho.
