Great. Another wasted weekend day of getting NOTHING accomplished.

Well, I guess I had a sweet radio show this morning. Other than that though… ugh.

Sat around on the computer, watched a movie, ate, played Nintendo. No reading or work of any kind happened.

Nice going, me. I guess it burns time until the end of the year. But I don’t want to be doing this every weekend… Stuff has to get done once in a while, even for me.

The Get Up Kids are calling it quits.

They’re embarking on their final tour, and the last show ever will be in Kansas on the fourth of July.

It’s the end of an era.

I seriously got misty-eyed when I heard the news. What they’ve meant to my cousin and I over the years has been incomparable.

First Ghoti Hook, then FIF, now TGUK… man. I truly think my nostalgia has been formed. These bands, all gone now, were the soundtrack to my adolescence.
